پـيچيدگي مسئله در اين است که در طرف مقابل، يعنی امريکا، هم اين دوگانگي مشاهده مي شود؛ حتي در دولتمردان اسرائيل هم ديده مي شود، در اپوزيسيون حکومت هم اين دوگانگي ديده مي شود. نمونه: کيک و انجيل بوش پدر برای رفسنجاني، ارمغان مرگ را براي اپوزيسيون به همراه داشت. طرفين دعوا بر حسب منافع و برای اينکه باقي بمانند بر سر منافع کنار خواهند آمد. اپوزيسيون نفعي در ماندن جمهوري اسلامي ندارد. اين را بايد باور کند.

Dear Jenabe aghaye Nouriala-ye Aziz, Norouz Pirouz. I wish a very great year for all Iranians around the world. As an instructor at Tehran University, I have always been and hope to have enough courage to defend national unity and pluralism, though based on different traditions and by a different reading. I had many political problems...I came to conclusion, Iranian needs to learn: Compromise on their reading of the national interests rather than fighting one another, Contract on respecting one another's belief system, rather than insulting the belief system of one another to put it humbly, I was offended to read your article. I agree with you, the abuse of religion. However, I am unable to support or refuse the belief system of any body. Moreover, it betrays national unity.

Dear Mr Nooliala, your article was excellent. The main problem of Iranian is religion, religious tradition superstition. I am so glad that now more intelectuals concern about that. best wishes, S.I.

Mr. Noorialaa, I enjoyed reading your article on freedom of speech in Gooya news. I agree with you that ideally, we would have a full range of freedom of speech. I have two comments on the article. One is a minor technical point on use of psychiatric examples to support your point. Second is my personal opinion on how to compromise between the principal of freedom of speech and the necessities of strategic planning. 1- People who are hospitalized in psychiatric wards for their claims of being a prophet are not necessarily being imprisoned by the governments. There isn't necessarily a conspiracy here! There is a criteria for diagnosing someone with schizophrenia. You can refer to psychiatry textbooks for the criteria. I understand that you may not agree with the criteria, but please note that the criteria is not produced and decided by the Islamic Republic of Iran government, but by the American Psychiatric Association. If you have an individual example of someone in a hospital as a result of conspiracy, instead of making a general statement, it would be fruitful if you mention that case in your article. 2- We agree and believe in the freedom of speech. People who are against it, obviously, do not believe in the freedom of speech. We can not control their actions, we can only control our own actions. Strategically, it wouldn't be fruitful to provoke them by publishing an article which they perceive as insulting. Instead we can promote human right principals that are more likely for them to embrace. After they embrace these principals, their minds will be prepared and ready to embrace other principals that are remote right now. By a step by step education, human rights will succeed there. Hence, while publishing the cartoons are in accordance with the principal of freedom of speech, they are a mistake in strategic planning. Best regards, A.Gh.

سلام، دوران اين مملکت پر از آدم هائی مثل شماست که به خيال خود روشنفکران اين مملکت بودند و به اين خاک و مردم چه خيانت ها که نکردمد وقتی اشخاصی مثل «گونتر گراس» و «ساراماگو» اين اعمال را نادرست نوشتند شما که در اين نسل کشور خودتان جائی نداريد بهتر است چيزی ننويسيد و خود را جزو 9 نفر تشکيل دهنده کانون نويسندگان ايران نياوريد. لازم است چند چيز را برای شما بنويسم به عنوان يک نفر تحصيل کرده که در محيط دانشگاه هم کار ميکنم نوشته شما را پرينت گرفته و در دانشگاه به تعدادی از دانشجويان دادم هيچ کدام نوشته های شما را قبول ندارند و همگی به اتفاق از شما مرز بين آزادی بيان و توهين را خواستند. شاطد شما واقعاً کارتون ها و کايکاتورها را ندطده اطد و فقط به واسطه ادعای نوطسنده بودنتان خواسته اطد اظهار وجودی کنيد چرا که دوستان من که از دوران دبيرستان تا الان با هم ادبيات امروز ايران را مرور می کرديم از هئايت، چوبک، بزرگ علوی و... هيچ کدام شما را نمی شناختند. راستی شما تا الان کجا بوديد؟ راستی واقعاً برای ما بنويسيد مرز بين آزادی بيان و توهين کجاست؟ راستی بگويم که عضو هيچ گروه، دسته و يا حتی کانونی نيستم و فقط يک ايرانی مسلمان هستم.

Your article todayو without any judgments on your point of view is not polite, you can bring same issues without insulating others, hope some time you Iranian intellectual come up with a code of ethic. Say what ever you think its right but politely , you are more responsible than ordinary people.
